Alpaca wool
Alpacas are one of the most beautiful animals of the camelid family in South America. They are related to llama, guanaco and vicuña. Since prehistoric times, they have been domestic animals and have been used to transport goods. Alpacas are vegetarians and about 95% of them live in southern Peru.
Alpaca wool began to be used in the Inca Empire, where it was reserved for the ruling family and aristocrats.
